We are so excited to bring this activity to AAPM&R and to provide a fun, safe, and collaborative way to explore NOLA, network, and get to know your current/ future PM&R colleagues.

 

Most of the items can be completed individually, however, we have designed some team challenges that encourage you to mix and mingle with other med students, residents, and attendings. We have also designed some attending challenges where certain physiatry leaders have been planted with clues and tasks. Network. Be strategic. Aim for 3-4 individuals on your team. The points you accumulate will help with your team points. The team events will be made up of challenges that must be completed all together. 

Each item on the list is worth a certain amount of points. Pictures and videos should be uploaded onto social media. Make sure you document or it didn't happen! How to make it count:

• Follow AAPM&R and papa.org1975 on Instagram, papa_org_1975 on X, or The Philippine American Physiatrist Association on FB.

• Post your pics/ videos/ reels as a regular post + story and tag @aapmr @papa.org1975 on IG or @papa_org_1975 on X.

• Use the hashtags #AAPMR2023 #PAPABEQ2023 so we can find them. 

• Document the number of the Quest Challenge on your post in addition to what the instructions say. 

• Save your posts! Send it to us at the end of the conference.

There will be a winning med student, a winning resident and a winning team. Our prizes for the individual winners will be to cover registration for a conference of YOUR choice in 2024. The winning team will get $25 gift cards.

Instructions:

1. For the newcomers to the game, fill out the form below so we can keep track of you. For those signed up through our Events Form, skip this step. 
   
    

2. Check our social media for the Quest List drop. The Quest List will be a Google Sheets link.

3. Make a copy of the sheet for yourself. If you have a team, share this with your teammates and keep track of your points altogether on the sheet. Replace the "Team Member" boxes with the names of your team. You will be sending this back to us once you complete it with your team name/ individual name. 

4. If there are any issues, email us at papa.org1975@gmail.com or DM us so on IG and we can rectify the issue as quickly as possible!
